JOSEPHINE HOUSE
Josephine had a wonderful house on her 80 wooded acres. She wanted a new spacious master suite and a place to display her antique book collection. I designed the new master as a semi-detached room at the front. We created a new library simply by enlarging the hallway with a curve that helped define a new entry. This gave her 70’s style house a whole new look. Privacy is an issue. The new forms allowed us to gate the entry while enclosing a private outdoor courtyard bridge which allowed us to remove the steps. We used the new forms of the addition to make private outdoor courts.
