Each home stands alone for spacious privacy and yet is linked by an elevated boardwalk network that connects a central recreational avenue with beach access. The main avenue includes pools, jacuzzi's, fountains, benches and landscaping with a Mediterranean ambience, all to the full sounds of the sea.
The community has 18 houses, eight condominiums and four penthouses with unique livable floor plans. They offer a variety of living arrangements, featuring spacious family layouts as well as senior accommodations to meet the most discriminating homeowner- all with barrier free design. We also proposed a wind powered generator to augment electricity.
The impetus is vacation or second homes with all the amenities for extended weekend stays. To ensure great views, the houses are graduated in size; changing with each row of houses from 1 story, to 2 stories to finally 3 stories . The 3 story homes have beach view sunrise and bay view sunsets. As a design element a thin pool of water extends from the back of the site to the pool on the boardwalk to the gulf beyond. We created a landscaped pond with fountains in the wetlands. The boardwalk connects all the dwellings above the dunes. Both stairs and ramps access the beach.
